Eduardo Escobar got the Arizona Diamondbacks on the board early, and then he continued to terrorize Washington Nationals pitching for the rest of the game. In the first inning, Escobar erased an early, 1-0 deficit with a two-run single. The third baseman later extended the Diamondbacks lead with a two-run HR. In the bottom of the eighth, Escobar padded his team's lead and brought his gaudy RBI total to seven with a three-run home run. The herculean effort led the Diamondbacks to an 11-4 romp of the Washington Nationals.
