Jake Cronenworth

In the bottom of the sixth inning in Wednesday's matchup against the Colorado Rockies, Jake Cronenworth launched a ball off the right-field wall that was just a foot shy of a homer. The ball took a hard ricochet off of the wall and rolled well past right-fielder Charlie Blackmon. Cronenworth hit the jets and made it around the bases in 15.5 seconds with a 28.7 sprint speed, per Statcast, for the first inside-the-park home run by a Padres player since Everth Cabrera in 2012.
