Fernando Tatis Jr., Jake Cronenworth, and Manny Machado combined to swat back-to-back-to-back homers off Gerrit Cole in the first frame, marking just the second time in franchise history the Padres accomplished the feat to start a game. The trio set the tone in an eventual 4-3 win at Petco Park.
