Corey Kluber

Corey Kluber tossed the sixth no-hitter of the 2021 MLB season in just 101 pitches, with a remarkable 71 strikes. The 35-year-old became the first New York Yankees pitcher to hurl a complete-game no-hitter since David Cone on July 18, 1999. The two-time AL Cy Young Award winner was brilliant all night as he allowed just one base runner on a free base in the third inning and fanned nine batters. Kluber, who typically maintains a stoic demeanor on the bump, was grinning from ear-to-ear as his teammates stormed to mound to celebrate the historic feat.
