Taylor Widener made his first MLB start in the final game of the series against the San Diego Padres. The right hander from Aiken, South Carolina, had a near flawless outing, going six innings while not allowing any runs. Widener also racked up five strikeouts, leading the way to the Arizona Diamondbacks first victory of the year.
