Michael King

In the top of the fourth inning in the matchup between the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox, Michael King tossed the 103rd immaculate inning in MLB history. An immaculate inning is defined as using the minimum amount pitches (nine) to strike out three consecutive batters in one inning. The 26-year-old righty from Rochester, New York became the first Yankees pitcher to throw an immaculate inning since Dellin Betances in 2017.
