The Shreveport, Louisiana, product scattered two runs over the course of seven innings pitched and fanned a career-high 12 batters to pave the way for the 3-2 victory over the Chicago Cubs. Walker’s signing has been a major part to the early 2021 success in Queens. Just ask Mets manager Luis Rojas, “We hit the jackpot with this guy,” Rojas said. “He’s been outstanding for us.”
