Taijuan Walker

Runs were hard to come by in Team Mexico’s game against Team Great Britain on Tuesday night. A huge part of that was Mexican pitcher Taijuan Walker. He struck out eight batters in four scoreless innings for his team, completely shutting down Great Britain. However, for Mexico to win, they needed some offense, and they got it from catcher Alexis Wilson. Wilson drove in both of their runs, including a go-ahead RBI single, sealing a 2-1 win.
