After Shed Long Jr.'s game-tying double, Kyle Seager completed the Seattle Mariners ninth-inning comeback over the Tampa Bay Rays with a walk-off base hit. The 33-year-old from Charlotte, NC, entered the game as a pinch hitter and only needed one swing of the bat to end the game. Seager connected on a 97-mph heater from Pete Fairbanks and sent it through the right side of the infield to cement the 6-5 win.
