The 28-year-old slugger connected on a hanging breaking ball, delivered from Max Scherzer, and sent it into the second deck just inside the right-field foul pole. Harper's milestone shot had a projected distance traveled of 431 feet with an exit velocity of 111.6 mph, per Statcast.
