On his 28th birthday, Trea Turner hit for his third career cycle in the 15-6 win over the Tampa Bay Rays. Not only is Turner the first player to hit for the cycle on his birthday, he became the fourth player in MLB history to record three career cycles. The other players to accomplish his feat are Adrian Beltre, Babe Herman and Bob Meusel. The Boynton Beach, Florida, product capped off the cycle with a laser down the right-field line for a triple and finished the contest an even 4-for-4.
