Joey Votto

In the bottom of the third inning in the matchup between the Cincinnati Reds and the San Diego Padres, Joey Votto clubbed a solo home run for his 1,000th career RBI. The Toronto, Canada, slugger put a drive into a pitch delivered from Joe Musgrove and sent it well into the right-field seats. With this blast, Votto became the fifth Reds player to join the exclusive 1,000 RBI club. The other four players to reach this mark in franchise history are Frank Robinson, Pete Rose, Tony Pérez and Johnny Bench.
