This was Shohei’s 16th longball in his last 21 games, marking the most homers in a 21-game span in a single season in AL history. The 27-year-old sensation put a charge into an up-and-in sinker from Marco Gonzales and sent it into the right-field upper deck. Ohtani is just one of six MLB players to reach that part of T-Mobile Park as he struck it with an exit velocity of 116.5 mph and a distance traveled of 463 feet.
