Dylan Carlson - 2021 Topps Now #6
1 / 2

Rookie outfielder, Dylan Carlson, became the second youngest hitter in franchise history with an Opening Day home run at just 22 years and 160 days old. In the top of the first inning, Carlson sent a screaming line drive off the right field pole for a 3-run blast. This shot propelled the St. Louis Cardinals to an 11-6 win over the Cincinnati Reds. The youngest player to record an Opening Day homer for the Cardinals dates all the way back to 1936, when Eddie Morgan hit a 2-run homer at age 21.
