With the winning run at first base in a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the ninth inning, Michael Harris II laced a line drive that was seemingly headed for the grass, but Dylan Carlson had other ideas. The speedy outfielder snatched the ball out of the air, used the wall to slow down and fired to the cut-off man. The runner at first base, Phil Gosselin, had his sights set on scoring and was nabbed by the relay for a double play. Carlson followed up that heroic defensive effort with a clutch base hit to drive in the game's deciding run in the 11th inning.
