In the top of the eighth inning in the matchup between the Tampa Bay Rays and the Baltimore Orioles, Brett Phillips stepped up to the plate with the game tied, 5-5, with the bases loaded. The 27-year-old from Seminole, Florida, smashed an outside 95-mph fastball, delivered from Dillon Tate, and sent it into the left-field seats for a go-ahead grand slam. Phillips finished the contest 2-for-4 with two longballs and five RBI as the Rays defeated the Orioles, 9-6.
