Blake Snell set the tone for the San Diego Padres 2-0 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks with a brilliant performance on the mound. The former AL Cy Young Award winner scattered just two hits over seven scoreless innings and fanned 13 batters in the process. Snell was clicking on all cylinders, spinning his devastating breaking-ball and backing it up with his firm fastball. Blake’s efforts sealed the series victory at Petco Park.
