Randy Johnson

JUNE 3, 2008 — Randy Johnson took sole possession of second place on the MLB all-time strikeouts leaderboard after his 6 and 1/3 innings of work against the Milwaukee Brewers. The 6-10 lefty leaped over Roger Clemens when he recorded strikeout number 4,673. Johnson would go on to fan eight Brewers hitters in the contest, but the Arizona Diamondbacks would fall short, 7-1. Randy would now look up to the 27-year veteran, Nolan Ryan, who sits at number one all-time with 5,714 strikeouts.
