In just his 11th career MLB start, the 23-year-old hurler scattered five hits over six and 2/3 innings of two-run ball and struck out a career-high 11 batters. Manoah's 11 strikeouts in Wednesday night's contest are tied for the most by a Blue Jays rookie in a single game. In addition, Alek now has fanned 71 batters on the year, making him the first pitcher in franchise history to eclipse the 70-K mark in 11 games or less.
