In the top of the ninth inning in the matchup between the Angels and the Detroit Tigers, Jo Adell stepped up to bat with the scored notched at two and with the bases loaded. Gregory Soto offered a 97-mph fastball right down Broadway and Adell launched it 416 feet to left-center field for his fist career grand slam. The 22-year-old's blast proved to be the deciding factor as the Angels would go on to win 8-2.
