Taylor Ward, Jo Adell, and Mike Trout showed that “Three’s Company” is a mantra celebrated by the Angels. The trio each went yard twice in an 11-1 win over the Tampa Bay Rays, an MLB-record third time in team history three players hit two homers in the same game. Adell also became the third Angels hitter ever and first since 2012 (Kendrys Morales) with two in one inning.
