In the top of the fourth inning in Tuesday's interleague matchup between the Tampa Bay Rays and the Philadelphia Phillies, Wander Franco connected for a base hit and extended his on-base streak to 25 games. At age 20, Franco becomes just the fourth player in the Expansion Era (Since 1961) to extend an on-base streak to 25 games under the age of 21. The other players to accomplish this feat are Roberto Alomar (1988), Ken Griffey Jr. (1990) and Alex Rodriguez (1996).
