Carlos Rodon threw the 20th no-hitter in Chicago White Sox history, after displaying his full arsenal of pitches en route to seven strikeouts over nine frames. His average fastball velocity increased each inning, starting the game at 93 mph and finishing with a 96.5-mph heater. The left-hander took a perfect game bid into the ninth inning before a hit batsman allowed the first runner to reach. Carlos ultimately got the final hitter out and was instantly mobbed by his teammates in front of the roaring Chicago crowd.
