Clayton Kershaw

Clayton Kershaw put together a masterpiece, as he tossed his first no-hitter against the Colorado Rockies. The Dallas, TX, native started his performance with a full head of steam and retired the first 18 batters of the contest. It was not until the first batter in the seventh inning that a throwing error allowed the first base runner to reach. With his 107th pitch in the game, Kershaw got the final out on a swing-and-miss slider. Kershaw became the first pitcher ever to strike out 15 batters without a walk in a no-hitter.
