Despite falling to the Texas Rangers, 8-5, Cedric Mullins highlighted the contest by accomplishing a feat no other Baltimore Orioles player had ever done. After clubbing his 30th longball of the year in the bottom of the second inning, the Greensboro, North Carolina, product became the first player in franchise history to have a 30-homer, 30-stolen base season. "I always felt I had 30 bags in me," Mullins said. "The 30 homers I always envisioned, if my power clicked like it has. It's an amazing feat and I'm proud of this moment. It's surreal."
