Most importantly, his stand-up double in his first at-bat placed him in ultra-rare company. This knock sealed Franco’s 43rd straight game reaching base safely, tying Frank Robinson for longest on-base streak among players in their age 20 seasons. “The names that he’s passed along the way, pretty special group,” Rays manager Kevin Cash said. “Huge congrats to Wander.
