Brandon Lowe set the tone for the Tampa Bay Rays 12-2 victory over the New York Yankees with an otherworldly day at the plate. The Newport News, Virginia, product went 3-for-5 with three longballs and a career-high seven total RBI. This effort marked Lowe’s sixth multi-home-run contest of his four-year MLB career and the fourth this season alone. “It was cool. The first one was probably my favorite one of the day,” Brandon said. “The other two were just kind of icing on the cake.”
