After being selected in the fourth round of the 2020 MLB Draft, Spencer Strider only needed one Minor League season to prove his case for a big-league debut. The Columbus, Ohio, hurler stormed through four levels of the Minor Leagues in 2021, owning a 3.64 ERA over 94 innings of work and 153 strikeouts. Strider pitched the seventh inning in the Braves contest against the New York Mets. Spencer allowed a run in his sole inning of work, but impressed with a four-seam fastball that ran up to 100 mph.
