Marcus Semien

The Texas Rangers inked Marcus Semien to a seven-year, $175 million contract after the middle infielder enjoyed a monstrous 2021 campaign, hitting 45 home runs and driving in 102 runs. The dangerous slugger played all 162 games for the second time in three seasons, with the pandemic-shortened 2020 season being the exception. The Rangers are betting on that track record of consistent contribution to help key a swift turnaround in the upcoming campaign.
