The Toronto Blue Jays added to a promising pitching staff when they agreed to a five-year, $110 million deal with Kevin Gausman. The right-hander proved that the consistent brilliance he flashed in the shortened 2020 season was no fluke, as he posted a sparkling 2.81 ERA in 192 innings pitched during the 2021 campaign. The Blue Jays hope Gausman will give them another dependable starter to join José Berríos, Hyun-Jin Ryu and rising star Alek Manoah.
