Putting a warm-hearted cap on his 16-year Major League Baseball career, the Angels and Oakland Athletics gave veteran catcher Kurt Suzuki the most heartfelt of sendoffs. Suzuki was honored with a pre-game ceremony at the Oakland Coliseum, the stadium in which he called home for seven seasons in MLB. Suzuki started the contest, caught one pitch, and then was greeted by members of his team and staff and given a roaring round of applause as he walked off the field.
