In the final contest of his 2022 Major League Baseball campaign, Mike Trout belted a milestone home run as the perfect bookend to a successful season. In the eighth inning of yesterday afternoon's contest between the Angels and the Oakland Athletics, Trout sent a pitch from Norge Ruiz a massive 490 feet to center field for the 350th home run of his MLB career. This late-game longball was also the 40th of Trout's 2022 campaign, making 2022 his third campaign in which he hit 40 or more.
