In the fifth inning of Game 3 of the World Series, Kyle Schwarber and Rhys Hoskins belted back-to-back home runs to add the finishing touches to the Phillies 7-0 victory over the Houston Astros. Schwarber’s two-run blast came first, and Hoskins followed it up with a solo shot, traveling a projected 374 feet and clearing the left-center-field wall. Amazingly, these home runs were both Schwarber’s and Hoskins’ sixth each of the 2022 Postseason, making them both just one longball shy of the all-time Phillies record of seven, set by Jayson Werth.
