Any Major League Baseball player's first home run of their career is a special moment, but for that homer to come as a grand slam in a competitive contest is nothing short of spectacular. That's exactly what Minnesota Twins rookie shortstop Royce Lewis made happen last night, smashing a fifth-inning grand slam over the left-field wall in last night's 12-8 win over the Cleveland Guardians. Twins fans rejoiced to see their star rookie come in clutch, and so too did his dugout, who were jubilant as Lewis rounded the bases.
