Cincinnati Reds call-up starting pitcher Graham Ashcraft notched the first win of his Major League Baseball career in last night's meeting between his Club and the San Francisco Giants. Although this was just Ashcraft's second start, after debuting just a few days earlier on May 22nd, his performance was professional and inspiring. Ashcraft allowed no runs and managed to strike out a Giants batter over the course of his phenomenal, second-MLB outing.
