The New York Yankees continued their winning ways on Friday evening – hammering Toronto Blue Jays pitching to the tune of 12 runs on 14 hits. The visitors turned up the heat in the top of the fifth inning, when Giancarlo Stanton, DJ LeMahieu and Anthony Rizzo all homered in the eight-run frame. Rizzo’s grand slam makes six homers in his last 13 games – extending the first baseman’s outstanding hot streak at the plate.
