Buddy Kennedy

With grandfather and former MLB All-Star Don Money watching on, Arizona Diamondbacks designated hitter Buddy Kennedy compiled a solid big-league debut on Friday night. The 23-year-old from Millville, NJ (yes, he and Mike Trout are friends) scored in the fourth inning after leading off with a walk and then slapped an opposite-field single in the bottom of the fifth for his first MLB hit. Kennedy’s contributions helped in what would be a 7-2 win over Minnesota.
