Buddy Kennedy

In yesterday afternoon’s contest between the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Minnesota Twins, Diamondbacks call-up third baseman Buddy Kennedy slugged a grand slam for the first home run of his Major League Baseball career. The 23-year-old, New Jersey native struck this milestone longball in the sixth inning off Twins reliever Caleb Thielbar, to extend his Club’s lead from two to six runs. As a result, Kennedy helped his Diamondbacks on to a 7-1 victory.
