St. Louis Cardinals rookie designated hitter Juan Yepez put on an absolute show in last night’s 9-0 rout of the Miami Marlins. The Venezuelan slugger crushed two home runs, marking the meeting as the first multi-home-run game of his Major League Baseball career. Yepez’s first, a three-run blast, was struck in the fourth inning off Marlins starter Pablo López; his second, which was good for two runs, was belted in the sixth inning off Richard Bleier.
