New York Yankees rookie southpaw JP Sears made his first MLB start in over a month on Tuesday night and once again threw up zeros on the scoreboard. The 26-year-old held Oakland batters to just three hits over five 2/3 innings, becoming just the third pitcher in team history to post five-plus scoreless innings in their first two career starts. Sears joins Slow Joe Doyle (1906) and Luis Gil (2021) in the exclusive club.
