In last night’s meeting between his Club and the Pittsburgh Pirates, Washington Nationals starting pitcher Patrick Corbin had a phenomenal, eight-inning performance. Throughout his stint on the mound, Corbin struck out 12 Pirates batters, walking only two of them, and allowing just one run. Undoubtedly, Corbin’s show-stopping start had paved the way for his Club’s eventual 3-1 victory, which was good for the fourth win of his 2022 Major League Baseball campaign.
