Last night’s contest between the San Diego Padres and the Los Angeles Dodgers was exciting from start to finish, and one of the game’s highlights was Padres left-handed starting pitcher Blake Snell’s brilliant performance. Amazingly, Snell struck out a jaw dropping 12 Dodgers batters in his just five-inning stint on the mound. Unfortunately, Snell’s standout showing wasn’t enough to lead his Club to victory, as the Padres took home the loss, 5-1.
