Garrett Hill

Yesterday, Detroit Tigers called up right-hander Garrett Hill to make his Major League Baseball debut in the first game of a day/night doubleheader against the Cleveland Guardians. Remarkably, Hill made an incredible piece of franchise history, becoming the first Tigers hurler to throw for six or more innings, while allowing two hits or less, in his MLB debut. Additionally, Hill, who struck out three Guardians batters, picked up the first win of his MLB career after his Club’s eventual 4-1 victory.
