New York Mets ace hurler Max Scherzer made his return from the IL in Tuesday night's contest between his Club and the Cincinnati Reds. Scherzer started and threw for six scoreless innings; amazingly, he struck out 11 Reds batters, walking none of them, and allowing just two hits. Unfortunately, his jaw-dropping return performance wasn't enough for his Club to find victory, as the Mets lost 1-0 after giving up a run in the bottom of the ninth inning.
