Kyle Schwarber

Kyle Schwarber is red hot, and his two-home-run performance in last night’s meeting between his Philadelphia Phillies and the Washington Nationals helped them on to their 11-0 victory. Schwarber started off the contest with a bang, hitting his third leadoff longball of the year. His second was struck in the third inning and was the 25th of his 2022 MLB campaign. This makes Schwarber the Phillies batter with the most home runs through this many contests since Ryan Howard struck 28, in as many contests, in 2006.
