St. Louis Cardinals veteran first baseman Paul Goldschmidt reached an incredible milestone in Tuesday night's contest between his Club and the Atlanta Braves. Goldschmidt collected the 1,000th run of his Major League Baseball career in the first inning, after being driven home by teammate Nolan Gorman. Unfortunately, Goldschmidt's milestone-passing contest went down as a 7-1 loss; however, Goldschmidt collecting his 1,000th run provided Cardinals fans with a pretty impressive silver lining.
