Cleveland Guardians hurler Triston McKenzie put on a show for the home fans in Cleveland last night, throwing for eight scoreless innings in his Club’s contest against the Detroit Tigers. Additionally, McKenzie notched a new career-high single-game strikeout count after fanning a jaw-dropping 12 Tigers batters over the course of his shutout start. Amazingly, McKenzie walked no batters, and allowed just five hits, leading his Club to their 4-0 victory.
