In last night's contest between the Kansas City Royals and the Toronto Blue Jays, Royals call-up first baseman Nick Pratto picked up the very first hit of his Major League Baseball career. The hit came in the top of the fifth inning, a line-drive single to center field, and was recorded off Blue Jays starter Alek Manoah. Unfortunately, Pratto's hit wasn't enough to push his Club onto victory, as they took home an 8-1 loss, but the call-up's first hit still gave Royals fans something to celebrate.
