Storied franchise sets 1st-half win record with 64

For a Club with as much history as the New York Yankees, it takes something pretty special to smith a franchise-first; however, that's exactly what the Yankees did in the first half of the 2022 Major League Baseball season by collecting an astonishing 64 wins before the MLB All-Star Game break. Their 64th win came courtesy of a 13-2 rout over the Boston Red Sox yesterday afternoon. Needless to say, the Yankees lineup has exceptional depth, and Yankees fans everywhere are hoping their hot streak continues well into the second half of the season.
