Juan Soto’s performance in the 2022 T-Mobile Home Run Derby was nothing short of exceptional, taking home the first victory of his Major League Baseball career in electrifying fashion. Soto collected an outstanding 53 home runs over the course of the contest, topping fellow MLB All-Star Jose Ramirez, long-time veteran Albert Pujols and up-and-coming rookie Julio Rodriguez on his way to the podium. Incredibly, at 23 years and 266 days old, Soto became just the second-youngest champion in Home Run Derby history, behind only Juan González, who took home the silverware in 1993.
