Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw started for the National League in last night's MLB All-Star Game, which is appropriate, considering the contest was hosted at Dodger Stadium. Interestingly, despite being selected for eight MLB All-Star Games before last night, Kershaw's scoreless first-inning performance blossomed out of his very first MLB All-Star Game start. Furthermore, his pick-off of Shohei Ohtani after allowing a single just moments before made this already-sweet moment even sweeter.
